As CEO, Abbot oversees all investment opportunities under the SolPacific umbrella including serving as Manager for SolPacific Income Fund and SolPacific Deferred Income Fund, which combined have approximately $175MM under management. Prior to creating SolPacific, Abbot was CEO of Mercury Investment, a national private equity firm investing in multifamily and hotel properties. Under his leadership, Mercury and its controlled affiliates have made more than $1B in real estate acquisitions and dispositions. Greg co-founded SolPacific, LLC and serves as the Chief Compliance and Investment Officer. Prior to joining SolPacific, Greg served as CFO of Miner’s Incorporated, a large family-owned regional supermarket chain for 24 years. During his time at Miners, Greg produced over $300MM in annual sales and grew the company to 42 retail locations and over 2,700 employees.  Before joining Miner’s, Greg practiced as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with McGladrey & Pullen, LLP. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Duluth, holding a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Jason joined SolPacific in 2018 and serves as the CFO and COO. Jason has provided tax advisory services to the company since its inception through his previous role as senior manager of tax services at RSM US, LLP. In his nearly 15-year career at RSM, Jason served some of the firm’s largest clients and quickly became their trusted tax advisor. Deane joined Mercury Hospitality, a subsidiary of SolPacific, LLC, in 2020; however, his association with the firm dates back to the early 1990s when he worked as an associate with Abbot Apter. Since that time, Deane has spent 23 years with Carlson Companies and its subsidiary Radisson Hospitality in various finance and investment roles, including SVP of Strategic Investments and VP of Strategy and Corporate Development. In those roles, Deane led the disposition of $1.3B of non-strategic businesses and asset managed its owned hotel portfolio, which included development, asset renovation and repositioning, and $300MM+ of sale transactions.
